New 7-minute video from FDA details new VFD rule
FDA has released a 7-minute video detailing the updated veterinary feed directive (VFD) rule effective January 1, 2017.
The video reviews the rationale behind the rule, its objectives and, most importantly, the responsibilities of food-animal veterinarians, feed companies and producers using medications deemed medically important to humans.
